Staying at Hotel Raices de Mar was a delightful experience that perfectly combined comfort with a dash of authenticity. Nestled in a beautifully remodeled 19th-century building right on Plazuela Machado, this gem of a hotel allowed us to soak up the local vibe with ease - vibrant eateries and charming shops were just a stone's throw away. The rooftop terrace was a soothing spot to unwind, with a drink in hand, as the sun set over the lively square below. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a super comfy mattress that ensured restful nights after a day filled with exploration. Breakfast was included, and oh, what a treat it was! Fresh flavors and hearty options fueled us for our outdoor adventures at nearby beaches like Playa Norte and Olas Altas. And let's not forget the excellent staff, who treated us like family - Armando, in particular, went above and beyond, carrying my bags and ensuring our stay was seamless. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or friends looking for a wellness getaway, Raices de Mar truly has something special to offer. I can't wait for my next stay!
